Marketing Director, Established Brands

Melanie Komadoski is a seasoned marketing leader with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape in Canada. In her current role as the Marketing Director for Established Brands at Viatris, she oversees a portfolio of trusted, high-equity products – including EpiPen, Viagra, and Lipitor – that contribute to the 1.45 billion doses Viatris delivers to Canadians each year.

With nearly a decade of experience launching products across allergy, gastroenterology, and oncology biosimilars, Melanie is now focused on shaping loss-of-exclusivity strategy and maximizing the long-term value of established brands. Her background spans both public and private sector, giving her unique insight into how to connect science, policy, and patient voices in impactful ways.

Melanie’s passion for patient-centered care is rooted in her earlier work with patient advocacy groups and further demonstrated through her leadership in launching patient support programs for biosimilars. This uniquely positions her to bring a thoughtful, patient-centric lens to Viatris’ marketing programs.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuropsychology and a Master of Science in Neurobiology from Brock University.
