Alex Baird is the owner and founder of Orangutan Inc., a results-driven digital advertising agency based in Toronto.
Orangutan works with clients across a wide variety of verticals, with a special focus on pharma. Past and current clients include Virgin Mobile, AbbVie, Aviva Insurance, Allergan, Abbott Diabetes, Novo Nordisk, CAPREIT, Walmart Photo Centre, Medic Alert Canada and DANIER Leather.
Specializing in Search and Paid Social, Alex brings a wealth of experience to the field, having previously worked for Wunderman Canada as Account Director for MSN Canada, as well as working as Digital Marketing Manager for Lavalife Ltd.
Prior to Alex’s foray into digital advertising, she worked as Digital Brand Strategist for a website development company DWL, developing 1st generation websites for many prominent Canadian and international companies including The Body Shop International, Holt Renfrew, Swiss Chalet, Hitachi, Avon and Indigo Books & Music.
Alex is a graduate of Queen’s University, Kingston ON, and in her spare time can generally be found chasing pucks, writing music or kicking butt in online Scrabble.
