Tinkara is a senior business leader with strong (digital) marketing and strategy experience currently engaged as independent consultant in Pharma. She has over 18 years hands-on strategic and tactical experience in multi-channel (digital) marketing mainly in Pharma & Travel sectors.  She has held a variety of roles in the Digital arena on a client and agency side and was until recently responsible for Digital Marketing at Bristol Myers Squibb (UK, Ireland, Italy, Brazil). Some of her key achievements in Pharma include the launch of tele-detailing models, the new multi-channel marketing commercial models in EU, 1st portal for the UK HCPs – PfizerPro.co.uk, Media and SEO strategy & implementation and digital transformation in several countries under her leadership.
Before moving to the UK in 2012 Tinkara was Global Head of Digital Marketing & Strategic Projects at the Slovenian National Tourist Board where she led global digital marketing and digital transformation programmes for the national travel industry. Several innovative digital initiatives were awarded as best practice under her leadership including the United Nations WTO Innovative Practices award. She also worked for Schering AG (Switzerland), Ernst & Young/Capgemini, Atlantis Healthcare and Pfizer.Tinkara holds a Master degree in Tourism Management & Marketing and is fluent in four languages.
